Elke's Table on 47th

Generous portions of delicious food! The owner and staff are friendly and personable. The meal was well-cooked; the meat was moist and seasoned well. Lots of tzatziki for the meat and large portions of fries and salad alongside the main. Prices are reasonable considering the amount of food! Definitely worth a trip! :)

Arrived for a late dinner while in transit in Yellowknife for work. Thankfully, Elke stayed open without any questions/comments. I had the pickerel which was absolutely wonderful. It was a large piece too (extends under the fries in this pic). The restaurant was also charming as was Elke and colleague. A bit pricey but worth it. I'll try he schnitzel next time. :)

Fantastic German food prepared fresh, right to order. Elke is a great cook and host and we look forward to going back. The schnitzel is a must try!
