Story

Elk Street Brewery Ltd. & Tap Room uses only grains, yeast, water & hops in each of our unique, hand-crafted, premium beers.We proudly feature locally sustained hops from Sanilac County's own commercial hop yard; Barkshanty Hops, LLC. Our hops reflect the richness & integrity of the local soil, otherwise known as the Thumb of Michigan. All of our beers are brewed whole grain. We use no malt extracts or preservatives. Combine our quality ingredients & years of brewing experience & the results are truly superior brews. Stop in for a pint or two, or maybe a tasting flight to sample. Want to take some home? We offer convenient carry-out growlers for purchase. Come hungry...Enjoy a signature Elk Burger, our House Smoked Pulled Pork, or an interesting menu feature of the day from our casual weekday and weekend lunch menu OR join us in our Chop House every Fri/Sat 4:30-9:00. Serving locally sourced steaks, seafood, prime rib, chicken, pasta & elk burgers in our completely renovated, turn-of-the-century microbrewery or in our new elegant ag addition.
