Horrible. If you have an appointment, you will spend over 30 minutes watching people with no appointments, or appointments scheduled after you, get ushered in quickly while you sit and wait. Because of the freak overnight snowfall, it took over a half hour walking from McBride/Royal up the grade to the clinic. I made sure I was not only on time but a little early. My feet were wet and I was cold. This is no way to treat a Canadian senior. Everybody in this country deserves to be treated equally, with dignity and respect, irregardless of age, sex or race. If you're in a demographic such as mine, you will be marginalized at this clinic. And you will wait. And wait.

Worst front desk staff I have ever dealt with. I finished my appt and had to get my Dr. note stamped by front desk. They (2 of them) left me waiting 10 mins while one took calls and the other left the office for whatever reason. Nobody said a word to me while I stood there. Finally, the other one comes back and tells me a need to pay $20 for my Dr. note. You couldn't tell me before you went wherever you went? Okay, no problem I'll go get my card. Now I have to wait again for 10 mins (one on the phone, the other writing something). "The machine is broken, you have to get cash from downstairs." What!?!? You didn't know you machine was broken 20 mins ago? Do not go here unless you want to be in a bad mood.

I have been going to Afroza since Nov 2016. It was a new clinic in my neighbourhood. This message has nothing to do with my doc just the office staff ladies. The receptionists MOA ladies are rude and disrespectful. I was looking for a family doc and I am so sad that I made the biggest mistake of my life to have decided to have my family Doc at this clinic as the office staff are extremely unprofessional and not helpful whatsoever. I have yet had a good experience talking to them over the phone or in the office face to face. We the clients are the ones that give them these jobs yet they treat us with such disrespect. Next time I go in there I will complain to my doctor about these two specific ladies. It's sad to see our MOA staff be rude and disrespectful people to their clients. I am working hard to find another doctor only because I don't want to have to spend another moment with the MOA staff.

There is a moa here who is very rude and downright dangerous to the health of her patients. I have dealt with her many times and have just found her rude, until now. I had called last week to request an emergency appointment with my dr. She told me he was fully booked. I requested for any emergency appointments as both myself and my 4 yo daughter have been having fever for 5 days. And we were both having a very severe cough. She told me "its just a cold, go to walk in clinic". Well this "cold" brought me to the emerg department that night for pneumonia. And my daughter got admitted to hospital for pneumonia and mono. She is currently still on iv antibiotics. I dont know what qualifications the moa has but i am sure she isnt qualified to diagnose people over the phone. She should have consulted with my dr to see if it was possible to see us rather than just turning us away. Since i started going to this clinic i have gone to the walk in more often than i was able to actually get in to see my dr. I dont even know what the point is anymore when he is never available to my family.

I only write reviews when the experience was bad--my prerogative. For the one person who doesn't get it. NEGATIVE STAR. Warning!!! don't go here! The entire staff is so unprofessional and incompetent. Stupid would be the best word to describe some of them. The moment you walk in, you can feel that there's something wrong with this place. The supposed doctor i saw was distracted and cut me off several times, came to a conclusion that was ludicrous. One of the wait staff listens to loud rap music and looks at herself in the mirror while you stand there for service. It's just all wrong. there are no patients. Only one seemingly desperate older chinese lady who didn't seem to be happy about being there either. When she tried to say something to the stupid girl, she told her rudely to sit down and wait. If you care about yourself, go somewhere else. You deserve good medical care. All of them apparently just graduated, no experience, no manners, no understanding of the hypocratic oath, just want to make money.
