Great historical place to visit, and go back in time. Ample parking.
One of the Best museums Elgin has to offer. You can explore for hours every time and still come away with new information. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous and the curator is World class. Necessary in a town with Elgin's rich history.

Really cool place for learning where we came from. They also have an extremely helpful staff. They have an offering of books available about Elgin that are pretty cool. Most of them are also available at the library if you don’t want to purchase.
I love my visits to the museum. It's a treasure trove of Elgin history -- oddities and all, and the building is a gem.
