I immediately liked that the parking garage was offering 0-2 hours for free.I could see a Tesla Supercharging station working out well at this location, it is Electric Works after all. It is a very nice building and lots of food options. Wish there were some more gluten free options, hopefully in the future there will be.
Cool place to eat some nice food. Its similar to “Eatly” . Lots of sitting area. If you like middle eastern food, please go and try Gabli! Their Baklava and tea is must!
Very cool place. Tons of room to just walk around. The market has a lot of good food options. The bar in the middle of the market has delicious drinks. There is also a beautiful prayer room that is open 24/7. I just love the whole vibe of this place and the life it brings to downtown.
Fantastic place to visit! Old GE factory converted into shopping center, right in the middle of the Broadway District, downtown Fort Wayne. Place is still under construction but, phase one is already open with restaurants and small market stores. Great atmosphere for family entertainment!
Lots of people at electric works today beautiful November day walking around outside and in the food court and market area. Looking forward to seeing the rest as they finish it. There is free parking in a lot down the street if you stay less than 2 hours. Question? Where are the ELECTRIC car charging spots? I would think you would install those given the name of the area. Edited to add March 2023 that they close EARLY for a Saturday night. Just be aware. Only half of its open past 8 pm and they close at 9 pm - even the bars! Prayer works is open 24/7 though.
Great to see this place being so vital and alive. This our first chance to get in opened weekend of 11/18/2022. Amazing look from an amazing industrial structure. We will be visiting here again soon
What a cool place. The food is local and DELICIOUS! Pizza, smash burgers, Korean, Mexican, coffee, ice cream, and so much more. The buildings are beautiful and the parking garage is free if you’re there less than 3 hours. The food is pricey but with it being local and their rent all being so high it makes sense. Can’t wait to see what else they’ll add!
This is not a critique of the vendors or individual staff members, but overall poor policy in place that seems to be leading to poor communication. I left my purse at Union Street yesterday, realized my mistake and came back, but could not find my purse. The website says to email lost and found, which I did, but have yet to receive a response. I tried calling the phone number listed for security and it rang and rang with no ability to leave a message. I asked around and vendors told me to look for someone in a Union Street shirt, but also told me they all had left for the day. I came back today and checked with a Union Street rep who directed me to security. Security had to call a supervisor to check; no purse. They told me to go back to Union Street to have them double-check. She already left for the day. A kind vendor told me her replacement would be in eventually. By this point, I'd already been here 45 minutes and was unsure what the time frame would be, so I left my contact info with security. I am baffled by the process of checking a simple lost & found. The fact that many workers were unsure of what to do is also highly problematic. That's not on them, rather it is clearly a lack of proper procedures. I am also concerned about there not being more building reps, only vendors, or the fact that security was gone at 6pm on Saturday evening when I called yesterday. Please consider adjusting policies in order to make this process easier. ***Edit: This was initially a 1 star review. I was emailed back, and a vendor had my purse. The situation was explained to me and handled well. I appreciate that my review was seen and considered. Thanks to everyone for the help.
Great space! A friend and I checked out the markets and restaurants. We hung out upstairs in big comfortable chairs. Definitely want to go back and take more friends to experience Electric Works!
Nice place and food is unique, shops and plenty of options.
