I have purchased all my lightings from this location! They have the best selection and prices, very friendly and professional! John is the nicest employee to deal with, always kind, and goes above and beyond to help find what you need! Dont listen to other reviews! These guys are the best lighting store in OTTAWA/GATINEAU area period!
Parts department seemed annoyed because I did not know exactly what I needed and could have been more helpful with assisting me with finding the correct part.
I was doing an irregular dishwasher install I went to home Depot was in the aisle for about 20 minutes I talked to an employee but could not find what I needed. I went to Canadian Tire and did the same thing . after that I decided to try out the electrical and plumbing store and the guy at the counter gave me what I needed right away.
I was hesitant about going here after seeing the negative reviews but I had a great experience. We are installing a new dishwasher and it seemed more complicated than we expected. Jim helped us out and explained in a simple way what we needed and how to do it. We really appreciated his help.
If you value customer service then you are rolling the dice at this store. My girlfriend had a terrible experience with one extremely rude salesperson and then was helped by a very helpful and polite salesperson. Personally we will not be going back to this store.
The folks at the store were very helpful. When I showed them a photo of a glass shade I needed replaced, they found a replacement that was virtually identical and in stock. It was more than reasonably priced to boot. I would definitely recommend and shop there again.
