Pretty good food. Fast service. Upstairs was nice enough. Not sure if it has the same lively vibe during the day as when it's busy at night but it was still good. Friendly staff. Fish and chips were good albeit a bit salty. Great texture. Strawberry cheesecake waffles were good, nice and fluffy, bit too sweet for me but my company liked them. Drinks are good will come back to try more for sure.
A group of 8 of us went for brunch today at the James St. location. All of us loved the vibe and the atmosphere. It is just a fun place to be. Everyone that worked there was super friendly and extremely accommodating. The menu had a variety of items that would fit anyone’s tastes and dietary restrictions. Overall, we would say that the food was good. The service was great. We loved the movies that were playing on the screens. Parking is a bit tricky because you either have to find a place to park on the street or get lucky and find a spot in the parking lot.
Love this place. It got that Ins-pink vibe with a creative menu. By the time we visited they were promoting the seasonal breakfast item - Pumpkin Pancakes. 3 fluffy pancakes drizzled with salted caramel cheese icing, candied pumpkin seeds and chocolate chips. A perfect warm and cozy start to the fall weekend. The Turtle Power Bowl salad I had was great too. My friends ordered burgers and loved them. Definitely recommend this place for brunch in Hamilton. We went at Sunday for a brunch. The food was delicious. My was Electric Benny, I loved it, eggs with a perfect hollandaise on a toast, the salad was perfect seasoned. My husband and his mother also loved them food. The service was good. A single point that we didn't like, they served water in unbreakable reusable cup.
Creative cocktails and breakfast options like the strawberry cheesecake pancakes or panko crusted deep fried crispy french toast. Everything was very tasty and the service was excellent! Since there was a chance of rain, I made our reservation for inside. However, when we arrived the weather was beautiful, so we asked if we could sit outside instead. Despite being fairly busy, they were able to accommodate this last minute change. And if you are the kind of person who enjoys 'people watching' as you eat, you will have ample opportunities to do so here. The George Street alley can be a high pedestrian traffic area and gets quite hectic on a Saturday night, however Electric Diner's patio is the perfect locale for a superb brunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon!
I really liked this place. Great atmosphere and food. I had the burger & fries with mixed greens and loved it. The fries were especially good. I haven't had their breakfast before but my friend told me that he went 2 days in a row because it was that good. I will definitely be back to try more.
This spot is truly a hidden gem, tucked away in a quiet spot of Hamilton, and features great food, even greater service, creative cocktails, and '80s nostalgia. I was impressed with the menu's selection as well as vegetarian options, too. The theme is also done tastefully, and isn't cheesy. As for the service, right from the time we were seated to leaving, I think in my lifetime, this is in my top 5 best service experiences. Next time I'm in the area, I'll be back! Also, highly recommend the shrimp roll.
Just loved the vibes of this place. The pink blue and electric colors. Food was delicious. We ordered simple chicken burger woth homemade fries. It was very fresh and we loved it very much The second thing ordered was flower pot Benny. Being vegetarian it was the most unique Benny I ever had on cauliflower patty. For drinks must Try is princess cotton candy milkshake . We had chocolate classic milkshake too but it looked bland in front of cotton candy one. Again ,it's a must try place .. looking forward to visit it during night time
A great little spot I had the pleasure of experiencing in Hamilton. I really love the nostalgia of the place, a many great reminders of my childhood. The staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming. They gave great recommendations but whenever I try a new place my tester is the Classic Breakfast! So good!
I am so glad I was introduced to this tiny little diner. It has so much pop culture history for those who remember the '80s and the service is quick and exactly what you need when you are in a hurry. Three of my colleagues and I went on lunch and we're in a bit of a hurry, but they served us our food and answered any questions we had with a smile and quick service. The old school decor really brought a smile on my face. I was a little sad that the CD jukebox wasn't working, however the music definitely was nostalgic. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone interested in reminiscing or just to get a good bite to eat. Now when I have a date ask me where I'd like to go, I think this is a safe place to say as it is just as good as meeting up at a coffee place and if the date goes well... I might be inclined to have a meal with the individual as well... Otherwise it's check please!
