OK - so this is NOT a 5 STAR top end golf course - this is a 9 hole - new and family friendly/ tune up course - I never feel rushed, I can pull out my driver, and I can battle with water and sand - so... I LOVE THIS COURSE!!!
Food at The Joint is amazing! Curated by Ted Reader, King of the 'Cue. Fantastically delicious. I had the brisket see picture. Family had the Original Teddy Burger, and Yard Bird Sandwiches. We got a Fried Chicken Sandwich to go which my son devoured in 2 bites. Possibly the best tasting, crispiest fries we have ever had! Highly recommend.
Amazing Place!!! Food was incredible. Real authentic Mexican food done beautifully. Great quality that takes you to Mexico in every bite. 3 amigos is the dish i tried. Highly recommended if you wanna try many options in the same plate. The best part is that it's a golf course too. So scenery is great from the restaurant. Staff is very friendly. I will be returning for sure! Great for families as well or for romantic dinners.
Always well maintained & very budget friendly, my daughters official training spot. 9 hole par 3 … great for beginners and for short game practice. Good food too
I tried the restaurant which it's located just at the entry of the golf course. I had the ribs and enchiladas dinner and that was a great meal. The decor of the place remind me of Mexico and the dessert was spectacular. This place is a most if you are in the area, during winter time they open only Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Here is a pic of the deep fried ice cream.
This course is a tiny, super fun little 9-hole with plenty to challenge and a very relaxed attitude. Great for my novice son, and his novice dad. Club house does barbecue and wood-fired pizza!
It was an ok visit. The restaurant is very dated and is overdue for a big Reno. Where we sat there was a really bad smell. Coming from somewhere. The food was... meh... We came for the Mexican fare. It was soggy and under-seasoned. Nothing tasted fresh and vibrant like you'd expect from Mexican food. Even Tex-Mex food is way fresher. I feel like I should have just gone with the wings or some other bar food. I'm sure that would have been on point. All in all based on my experience I give this place a generous 3 stars. The extra star is for the service from the waitress. She was really nice and brought us a few baskets of tortilla chips and pico while waited... And waited... And waited for our food. Otherwise this is a 2 star experience.
It nice because it is small for my son who is relatively new to golf but the quality of the course, grounds and building are far from nice, wish they would bring it back to its former glory back when it was a first class Mexican restaurant.
Very intimate setting, great staff and outstanding food. I must to check out.
Love how long you get to play for and some of the holes are pretty challenging, especially over the water. Not gonna find meant courses out there like this for $15! I’ll be back again ‍
