Such a lovely and chill place! Their specials are bomb today we had a grilled cheese with sauerkraut and sausage and tomato soup, and their meets and cheese are of course on point pictured: meat plate and roasted garlic & Pierre-Robert! A good place to hang out for a while and leisurely snack on all the great menu items, a favorite of mine being the bacon wrapped dates also pictured. Drinks are also great, whether you’re going for a traditional whiskey on the rocks or a fun cocktail like the “fall mule” which featured a hint of cinnamon apple!
We had a great experience eating dinner here and will very likely visit again. We started with a wine flight and a 3 cheese board. Our sommelier provided wines based on our preferences sweet, dry and asked what cheeses we didn’t want which was very considerate. Dinner was ample and filling I chose the Cheesy British with a chefs special Mac and cheese on the side, my lovely girlfriend had the grilled comfort combo. We ended the night with picking up a bottle from our tasting a Gazela Vinho Verde from Portugal. Overall a great date night spot and hidden gem in Tacoma.
I love Stink. The food AND drinks are always top notch. The wait staff is helpful and knowledgeable and the dates with bacon and goat cheese are THE BOMB.
This place hits on all levels!! We ordered the antipasti and the 3 cheese plate!! Amazing flavor! Lots of accouterments to pair with it all! Even stumbled upon live music which was also fabulous! The service was top notch! Don't sleep on STINK!!!!
Don't miss out on this Tacoma gem. The place is great the food is amazing and adventurous and the drinks flow nicely. This is a safe place to discover wines and experience the best Tacoma has. They are masters of hospitality and it shows every time you walk through the door.
The food was great! Just a little bit of a wait for being acknowledged.
Pretty good spot for a quick bite or lunch time date. The food options were reasonably priced and well portioned. The only thing that was off with the place for us was that the music was choice was weird. The music felt more like a 2010's night club instead of a wine bar.
Incredible food and wonderful atmosphere. Great for a quick drink, a wonderful meal, or for picking up the best things to fill your own refrigerator.
STINK was amazing incredible food and service. We had the bacon wrapped dates and triple creme brie appetizers. So yummy and the attention to details pairing the cheese with candied pecans, fresh roasted garlic, and red grapes. Great wine selection I had a Malbec and Pinot that were great. The best part though was THE Turkey this sandwich can't be beat the warm crunchy baguette turkey and mango chutney are a perfect balance of sweet and savory. Love this place
Stink is a really cool spot in Tacoma serving wines and cheeses. After going there a couple years ago and having a delightful sandwich and salad I opted to check out the happy hour. The drinks are $1 off house wine, beer and sangria. I really enjoyed the red sangria, and tried a sip of the White which was also good. Others in my group had the house red and found it good. The happy hour foods were okay, but fairly priced. Had the happy hour 3 cheese platter. Had three small slices of unknown cheeses, delicious roasted pecans, grapes and fig bread. The rosemary bread was a small little loaf served with olive oil and balsamic a really good balsamic. If they choose to up their happy hour food game I will surely become a regular.
