El Tio Restaurant

We ate at El Tio about 4 years ago and had a disappointing meal food was cold and prices were high. We decided recently to give them another try and were again disappointed. The prices were even higher for medium quality food. The salsa resembled tomato sauce. One of us had the vegetarian quesedilla which was so-so with only onions and peppers as the vegetables no mushrooms. The other had a steak burrito that was very light on steak. We ordered soft drinks at $3.50 each and weren't offered refills. Our bill was $38 with tip which is high for the location and low quality. We don't think we'll give this restaurant a 3rd try.

I have ate at alot of Mexican restaurants- but this one has the best refried beans EVER and you get BIG portions and tons of menu choices which are all DELICIOUS!!! Tons of flavor and awesome big margaritas; #donjulio make sure to get take our or stop by along Hwy 169.

Got steak enchilada and steak burrito well seasoned real good I will return

They have the best refried beans I've ever had, they're so good they made me like refried beans.nEverything else was great. I came for the food not for the English language. ..And the food chimichanga from the dinner menu was amazing! The waitress was very nice and helpful. Bravo to the chef.

Food had no flavor.. beans were weird and not authentic.. tortillas were cold.. the salsa that came out with the chips was like dipping your tortilla in plain tortilla soup. No flavor .nothing fresh. Rice was not good and plain.
