Restaurant open Sunday through Thursday until 10:00 PM, Friday and Saturday until 11:00 PM. Bar is open until 2:00 AM every night with Bar Menu including enchiladas, tacos, quesadillas and more until 1:30 AM.

We enjoyed our meal. It was ready in a timely manner. The service was quick, and everyone was all smiles & especially friendly. Which is a big factor for me. The facility was clean, spacious, nicely decorated, and accommodating. We'd definitely recommend El Tapatio to anyone in the area, or looking for tasty Mexican food. Parking: They have 2 large parking lots, as well as street parking. Wheelchair accessibility: The interior is large & spacious. Plenty of space for a wheelchair to navigate.
In the small town of Rainier, OR. This is a must stop lunch and dinner. The open space and soft padded booth sets make comfortable seating while you wait and for your meal, with window seating looking out at the Columbia River. The food is top-notch. I usually go for the two tacos. They have some house drinks for the adults and smoothies for the kids. If you're feeling like an outdoor meal, they have a nice open patio with a fountain and, during the summer, usually a live band. The bar is a bit small. But iv never had an issue with their drinks. Hope this helps.
Very good food, amazing salsa, nice workers, great atmosphere. This might just be my new favorite Mexican restaurant. By the way, they also have amazing fried ice cream. Vegetarian options: Can sub anything with meat in it for beans, also has some great veggie burritos. Parking: Lots of spots, on the street and in the lot, plenty of space.
My family and I had a great experience at El Tapatio. We were seated promptly at a booth that has a nice view of the Columbia River. The food was excellent and the sevice was top notch. We will definitely be stopping by again, the next time we are in Ranier.Food: 5/5

If you want to get your beer after your food 40 minutes and to get water only after the third time you ask. As well as to be argued with over a couple dollars off on your beer you ask for when you barely drank any of it because you got it when you were about to leave. This is the place for you. Don't worry I won't be back even if you paid me.
Great restaurant, strongly suggest the shrimp in the pineapple, it's not super filling but it's delicious. There's also this giant sizzling stone bowl with cactus my bf gets every time, he loves it. The Pina colada are great, music isn't usually Mexican but it's good pop.Food: 5/5
Ordered a simple meal of 1 quesadilla, 1 large chicken taquitos, with a side or rice and beans. 1 soft Drink and 1 strawberry daiquiri. This whole process took an hour and a half. I had to ask where our food was after an hour. The girl said the computer had a glitch and froze up. I think someone forgot to enter our order. Was not offered a discount for having to wait over an hour. Poor customer service! Sadly this has happened to us before and my husband said give another chance. Not now.

Was very disappointed in my last 4 visists. This was at one time one of my favs. I would go specifically for the fish and shrimp tacos with mango salsa. These have been on the menu forever. The last few times I ordered them, they would come out with Pico de gayo... not the same!! Sweet verses spicy. So I saw that this week still on the menu asked if they have the mango salsa in advance, I was informed they stopped making it, that customers dont like it ... okay, so take it off the menu. I'm disappointed for sure!
