Food was excellent. Under staffed for a busy lunch rush- made for slower service. They have some unique dishes. I tried the cactus tacos and fajita nachos. I thought both were excellent.
It is good. This time I tried the Burrito Veracruz which had streak, chicken, rice on the inside topped with their cheese dip, 3 jumbo shrimp and pineapple. Chips and salsa beforehand and more cheese dip. Staff is always smiling and friendly. The place is clean and bright. It is kid friendly. They offer vegetarian as well meat options. For those who are gluten free they serve corn tortillas. Portions are generous. Vegetarian options: There were several options. I cannot say whether they are good or not as I am meat eater. My granddaughter likes their cheese quesadillas. Kid-friendliness: I enjoyed watching the toddler chow down on chips and salsa, mostly salsa off her fingers. They hVe several high chairs and kid menu. Bring your own wet ones for cleanup. Parking: There is parking behind the building as well as on the street. Wheelchair accessibility: The front door is a bit heavy but there is a short ramp and no steps in the front of the building. Li.ited handicap parking on the street with a few more spaces in the back of the buildings. I am not sure if you can come in a back door as I have never looked.
The restaurant is clean and orderly and the staff is friendly. They sell Coca Cola products and offer free drink refills. The tortilla chips are served warm and contain Yellow Corn with specks of Blue and White Corn. The Salsa is a little watery and very mild but has plenty of Cilantro to give it some flavor. The Mexican Rice was great, Refried Beans were also good. The Chimichanga had a generous portion of seasoned Ground Beef and the Queso Blanco sauce on top was delicious. I would dine here again and will ask if they have spicier options like a Salsa Verde.
1st time trying. Portions were nice size but food lacked flavor. We found 2 chicken bones in our dishes as well, which we know happens but it didn't help with our disappointment. Not sure what the tiny pieces of dried out chicken tenders were that the kids got but they were inedible. Staff was friendly.
Taco NOT!!! Tacos were ridiculously overpriced & bland. Both the Fajitas & Burrito were also lame and soupy. The employee who took the phone order & was there at pick up was new, and borderline rude. Her go to answer was no. I asked for a receipt, & was told I don't need one. another employee who overheard this was able to provide a receipt. We are not planning to eat here again.
I really liked this place. First, they let my dog stay and we sit outside. The waiter brought her water. Second, my food was great. I had the mocejete may be spelling that wrong and it was sooo good! My husband got the carnitas and he said they were a little bland but he's super picky. The service was great and the town was super cute.
The service is exceptionally fast. Staff is kind and considerate. Their vegetarian menu isn't particularly creative, but the food is affordable, ingredients are good quality, and always well seasoned. Food comes out fast. I like the designs on the tables and chairs. Not the best Mexican food I've ever had but there aren't a ton of options in the area. Look forward to being here once every couple weeks.
Just what I needed! We moved to Marshall recently and had been wanting to "go out" and decided to go here for my birthday. First, the decor is on point. Colorful chairs, tables, and murals on the wall really light the place up. Second, the service was excellent. Fast, friendly and attentive. Once the orders were in, they came out quick and hot. The food was pretty good, which is what I wanted and expected. I ordered a burrito with shrimp and steak and it tasted great! I think the chips and salsa were complimentary too which is always a nice bonus.
I've had lunch here twice. the food was wonderful. The owner was working, he was actually our server great guy. Very friendly. they offer catering. I had the carne asada steak was tender, portions were huge. Vegetarian options: They had a couple of all vegetable dishes.
Service is pretty good. The younger the help, the better the service, but good all the way around. The food is good also and the selection standard midweatern Mexican joint food. I like it fine.
