Definitely some unique options on the menu and apparently they change up the menu pretty regularly which is nice. They had beef tongue tacos meat was good but not much other topping or flavour, carrot tacos that were quite nice, and the corn appetizer was pretty good. The swordfish and the beef were certainly tough and wouldn’t recommend those. The chicken thigh/chorizo taco was perhaps the best for tenderness, flavour, and spice. The staff was very nice and friendly which made for a much more enjoyable experience. We had Sebastian who was great. The restaurant overall is pretty cool with a nice line up on the bar and had an exposed brick type of vibe.
They just opened three weeks ago. Had dinner here for two: a warm tortilla soup to start; three juicy tacos spicy chicken; steak with some spicy sauce as requested ; and veggie; octopus crispy outside and tender inside as the main served with two sides: sweet potato and spicy corn salad. Really authentic Mexican cuisine, cozy atmosphere and friendly services; stayed four days and tried most restaurants in the village, this one ranks the best without doubt.
The restaurant, service and food quality was good. We chose the 4 course dinner menu for two for $75 each but the sharing portions were really small for which the high price is not justified. They didnt provide us options to choose from which resulted in digestive problems later on. I suggest using their a la carte menu instead as you can actually choose what to eat for the price you pay.
Would recommend To access the menu, use your phone's camera and scan the barcode sticker on the table. It's a bit complicated and doesn't have pictures. But our friendly waiter kindly explained how it worked. We went with the corn salad Elotes Loco and Tostada, which were both delicious. We followed those up with 3 tacos each: Costilla de Ternera, Cochinita Pibil, Pollo a la Parilla, and Carne Asada. We thoroughly enjoyed the tacos. The beef was very tender. While the Polo a la Parilla was tasty, it was soggy and fell apart. Our biggest disappointment were the churros. They had an intense citrus flavour to the point that I was making a funny face. They would have been so much better without that overpowering flavour. Overall, 4 out 5
Possibly the best and most authentic Mexican food I have ever had. We had the 6 course tasting menu and it did not disappoint. Each dish offered diverse flavours and beautiful plating, you can truly see the detail that goes into each and every dish and the superb quality of all the ingredients. The Tostada de Camarones were to die for and the house made churros were the best I’ve ever had. Patiently waiting for them to open up in Montréal because I know it will become a go to!!!!
Very impressed! I love true Mexican cuisine and this restaurant innovates and succeeds in making it better. We had the tomato salad to start, and then the Brocoli Carbonizado, a must! The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Finally, the homemade churros, see picture, imagine comments.
This is a new restaurant in the Mont Tremblant resort area. Their service was exceptional and the tacos were delicious. It was quite pricey but we definitely had a nice time.
We had dinner here for two and we're so happy we picked this place to try during our stay at Tremblant. Our whole meal was amazing from start to finish and we are still talking about how good it was! We had the tacos and they were phenomenal. Our favourite was the Cochinita Pibil taco. The margaritas were also amazing. Our server recommended the churros and homemade ice cream for dessert which was so tasty as well. They were the best churros I have ever had. We hope to be back soon and try more things because this is definitely our favourite restaurant at Tremblant : I only wish the tacos were bigger because they are SO good!
Had a lovely meal on our family ski trip. Food was delicious, we all had a mixture of the tacos and can recommend all of them. Sometimes ski trips can be a bit steak-heavy so it was good to have a different cuisine to mix things up. Also, if there’s room at the end, the desserts were a tasty course; the churros were delicious! Service was very good, all very helpful and they clearly are passionate about the food.
Went to El Santo Perdido with a larger group. The manager essentially forced us into getting the 4 course plated menu. Although, I was expecting a meal that incorporated cheese that stays liquid at room temperature like most authentic Mexican restaurants I managed to find a slight satisfaction on my palate from the food. However, I feel for the level of service and quantity of food I received it was not in line with what one would call fair value. Some nice fresh queso on the menu may attract me back.
