Very reasonable pricing for good quality! Very flavorful, juicy, and fresh tasting meats/veggies. Trying to find a non Americanized Taco truck is hard. They do a great job here! Yes, they are located at the church in Covington. However, there's plenty of parking and room to stand. Appeared to be cooked to order and all tasted very fresh. Their green hot sauce is AMAZING! hands down one of my favorite. I did find it odd that they handed out a pager device I was the only one there- even if there were a few people- but whatever. The plates were standard paper and covered in foil to keep warm. I'd come here over the other two or three Mexican places in Covington absolutely hands down!
Had an amazing experience with El Gran Taco! We had them come out for an event at our apartment complex and they did an amazing job! We had a line of 80 people that they took care of quickly. Everybody was raving about how great the food was! Would highly recommend this food truck!
Carnitas tacos, chips and guac- all DELICIOUS. Everything was freshly made; could taste the freshness of the cilantro even! Super friendly, super quick. Worth every penny!
The people behind the counter were so nice and friendly. We got a Carne Asada wet burrito, regular Carne Asada burrito, and two Carne Asada tacos. The wet burrito was a little salty. The sauce was a little tomato soup tasting. To be fair, we got there shortly before closing time. The suace may have reduced over the course of the evening. The tacos and regular burrito were good, though. Their green salsa was a bit on the hot side but tasty. Give this place a try and let me know what you think. I will try again just at a different time of day.
We just hired El Gran Taco for a grad party. It went great! They showed up early and got right to work taking orders. They had a buzzer system to know your food is ready which was awesome. Very delicious! Great portions and everyone was raving about how good it was and several people were inquiring about possibly hiring them in the future for events. We were thrilled to take leftovers home and will recommend them for any catering needs. Thank you! You made our party great!
I hired El Gran Taco for my son’s Rehearsal Dinner. I actually booked them just under a year ago since the wedding was over Labor Day Weekend I wanted to secure a truck right away. Eduardo was great to work with. He was very responsive to my emails and helpful whenever I had questions. The truck was actually a trailer but it was perfect for 40 guests. I believe they have a few trucks There were 3 workers and they worked hard for two hours and took care of our guests. The food was delicious. It was fresh, hot and great portions. Thank you El Gran Taco for making our event perfect! I would hire again. Laura
El Gran operated the food truck for the 3 -day Seattle Antiquarian Book Fair, and everything was fantastic. Great food I tried pollo & asada tacos, and enchiladas. They exceeded hopes in service and quality. Get them at your next event!
