Nice restaurant with nice staff. I had their chicken dish which tasted pretty good, but the chicken was a bit dry. I think the beef and lamb cooked fresh would have been a bit better. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.
Friendly staff, the falafel was yummy and I was a big fan of how knowledgeable the staff were about veganism, how easy it was to order vegan, and how many options there were for me. It's close to work, convenient and affordable. I will definitely be back to try more food.
Awsome place!! I am in love with the chicken sheesh wrap, it has the absolute right blend of spices and is made right in front of you served fresh. I have been in such love with the sheesh wrap that never bothered to try anything else. Highly recommended for a tasty and fresh served kebab delicacy.
The tall cashier with the accent was the BEST customer service person I've ever encountered. I visited these guys tonight after staying for a week in Vancouver as I drove from Calgary, let me tell you it was much cheaper here and it was actually on par with what we were served back in Calgary and MUCH more than the Vancouver servings overall the cashier was VERY polite, customer service makes all the difference and the food was amazing. Def a recommendation from me.
We had an unpleasant experience at this restaurant. The chicken shawerma wrap was cold and bland, definitely not fresh. The sauce was dripping like crazy. If it weren't for the pickles this sandwich would have absolutely no taste. The beef kabob was much better thought, same problem with the driping sauce. Another major concern, the cooks weren't wearing any gloves while preparing the food.
Great place! Cosy atmosphere and fast service. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The price is great, a perfect way to fill up on a budget with the specials offered, portions are smallish but it's what you get considering the price. Quality is worth it, good falafels also, - the main reason of visit, looking forward to trying more of the menu.
Added the extra chicken but it still felt like there was no, um, chicken. Hate to see what you get when you order regular. For $20 for two shawarma wraps I can say that with the small meat portion and boring, re-heated chicken that this place does not remotely compare to the worst street vendor in Vancouver.
The food taste so bad..they dont know how to make garlic sauce or hummus. Boiled rice was old n warmed in a micro. Taste of meat was OK. .. might as well pay 10$ to eat from subway or something
Decent shawarma. Friendly staff. If you’re looking for a falafel or some other kind of wrap be aware that they have a couple on sale for $4.95 during “happy hour” from 2pm-4pm every day.
First off Efes is not Viatnamese; it is a Turkish place that just opened on Yates Street in Victoria, BC. The food there is AMAZING! It took one visit for this place to become my family's favorite. The Kebab is very flavorful and juicy. The meat Doner is super rich and tasty. A must if you love Turkish food or just looking to try something new.
