Great preserve that I visit all the time. The trails are marked and easy to follow. Most of the loop is well maintained, but can get pretty muddy with with wet weather, so plan accordingly. The main attractions are the waterfall and cliff view. Both are gorgeous and worth the short hike. There is some elevation in the trails, but the hike is pretty straightforward other than that. The preserve is open for most of the year, but does close for hunting season. Be sure to check the website if visiting around then. There's a small parking lot, but there's a wide road that works for overflow parking. It doesn't get very busy there, so that's never gotten in the way of enjoying the preserve.
Beautiful gorge that I had no idea existed, despite having lived here for decades.
Nice preserve along the shore of Cayuga Lake. The trail is a loop, not terribly long and its well marked and easy to navigate. Pocket Falls is located in the preserve and its a nice waterfall, but its hard to get a good view of it. There is not a lot of room for parking, so Id recommend going early
The waterfall is amazing! I mostly enjoy hiking here during the summer or spring when it doesn't rain too much.
