Edna's Lunch

First time there and definitely will be back. Perch dinner was the best I have had. Service was awesome and prices even better. The cook/waiter/dishwasher was funny and very personable. It is certainly a must try if u have not been there. You will NOT be disappointed.

Here at this quaint family restaurant you will be warmly greeted and served by a Edna and her husband. I ordered a bottomless cup of coffee that stayed topped up from beggining to end. The menu is filled with classic choices you would expect at a family reseraunt. Here's the difference, the prices are amazing and the potions are above average. $7.50 for a full sized breakfast. 3 eggs, mound of bacon, home fries and toast!! This place is the real authentic deal. The food was hardy and delicious. I left feeling full and satisfied, all without putting a dent in my wallet. If you ever pass through this area and don't eat here, you'd be missing out. Thanks Edna!!

French toast is just toast and egg no flavor. Eggs are bland. Homefries are mediocre could use some kind of seasoning. Now to the owner he seems to have not much patience. After we ordered he brought the wrong kind of eggs no french toast we had to ask for it and seems that he was annoyed by it. He keeps going into the back to argue with the cook and wife. The cups are dirty. We watched the man pick his nose. It was so bad my wife went to the washroom and got sick. Upsetting that this is the only place besides McDonald's for breakfast. I definitely will never be here again

Quaint little diner! The Clubhouse was the best I had in years. The gentleman who served us was welcoming. The woman in the kitchen came out to explain how she made the burger and chicken with her "own two hands."

Wonderful people running the restaurant. Their portion sizes are even bigger than they say on the menu. Fast service, well made food and an unbeatable price. Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly, kid's menu options available. Parking: There is a small parking lot next to the restaurant, but plenty of street parking less than a block ahead.

Your classic diner! The breakfast was great and it came with a ton of food for a very reasonable price. Service was quick and kind. I'd recommend it!Food: 5/5

Tried to stop in here for lunch. Although the Google hours said they were open and the restaurant doors were open and the open sign lit, we were turned away upon entering the restaurant. A man told us he was having lunch and wouldn't open up again for at least an hour. I find that very unprofessional. If they wanted to close for an hour the doors should be locked with a sign stating they will return in an hour at the very least. Given the current state of small buisness in Ontario you'd think you'd be happy for the sale. After reading some other reviews it would seem like this is the scenario often at this restaurant. I'm not sure if I will take the chance of driving out there and being turned away again to update this review.

The hospitality was by far exceptional ! .. they made us feel like family. The hot roast beef sandwich was delicious accompanied by fresh cut fries ! A true Mom & Pop diner !Food: 5/5

The staff is super friendly and nice. You can tell it's a family owned restaurant. They interact with customers, make jokes and just make you feel like you belong. Their food is really good and affordable too. They're located at a good place in town. I went here for brunch on Mother's Day with family and we had a good time

Poor unprofessional service. Talkative male waiter who splashed spit on my food in the process of talking & I was left with no choice than to abandon the plate of food & still paid $14.50. Grabbed open my water bottle without my permission ! Never to go back there
