However, beneath its sleek exterior, the building falls short in two critical areas: cleanliness and security.nnDespite being a relatively new addition to Edmonton’s core, the tower’s upkeep is surprisingly lacking. Common areas, including elevators and lobbies, often appear unkempt, with dust, litter, and smudged surfaces frequently left unattended. Restrooms, which should meet a high standard of hygiene in a professional environment, sometimes suffer from neglect, with soap dispensers running empty and floors appearing unsanitary. For a building that houses both corporate offices and public spaces, this level of maintenance is disappointing.nnSecurity, unfortunately, does little to uphold the integrity of the building. Guards seem indifferent to their responsibilities, often appearing disengaged and unbothered by their surroundings. Issues such as loitering, unauthorized access, or disturbances in the lobby and entryways go largely unaddressed. This lack of attentiveness diminishes the professional atmosphere that Edmonton Tower should be striving to maintain.nnGiven its stature and the expectations associated with a high-profile downtown office building, Edmonton Tower should be held to a higher standard. Improved cleaning schedules, stricter maintenance routines, and a more proactive security team would go a long way in restoring its reputation. Until then, the building’s management needs to seriously reconsider its approach to upkeep and safety.
Although pass ticket ride lines were and are not bad . It is still a hassle for people with mobility. Yes a low rating the place is relatively new and bus pass tickets are on the second floor . Not first the escalators new building are always broken it seems like , especially on the end of the month and the elevators do not have button on the inside if it is crowed low mobility you pretty much have to get off when other doors open and retry and hope that people will let you get off or hold the doors open.
Edmonton Tower is a great addition to downtown. It’s only a couple of years old so it’s still shiny and new. There is public underground parking and washrooms. As the name suggests this buildings main tenant is the City of Edmonton so the city has centralized the majority of their services here. There is easy access for all people and on staff concierge. Always kept clean and tidy. I knew this location when it was still a Staples store so I watched it being built from when the foundation was laid till its completion.
Brand new building buit by PCL Builders. It is lease to CITY OF EDMONTON, several food stores as well, huge public underground parking, covid 19 guide lines is in place at the moment.Upon losing my wallet in City Transit I still got it back through good Samaritan to very kind EDMONTON city transit operater to Lost and Found office.HONESTY is always alive through people of EDMONTON
ARCnArc ProgramnEdmonton Tower 10111 104 AvenuennAbsolutely terrible. The ARC system has many flaws rangung from overcharging customers, broken and or glitchy ARC machines, charging incorrect amounts, charging and not furnishing tickets, and refusal to refund overcharges. Very poor customer service. Avoid at all costs.nnEither buy bus tickets at a convienience store or buy a bus pass.
