I love the ambience of this place. The building itself from the outside is also really beautiful and the interior… Oh my!!!! Beautiful is an understatement. It is an amazing spot to take beautiful pictures I tell you.nnThe stairs were rather long but you also have the option of the elevator which I used when I couldn’t go on anymore climbing the stairs.
Came here for the first time for a conference. Very nice design from the outside and inside as well. It looked like a green house with all those greeneries! So beautiful! Very clean and big halls with lots of room. The staff however were useless when it came to asking them questions about the food, they don't know if something is vegetarian or if it has certain allergens. So i took one star for thatnThe food was just meh.. i don't know if this is because of the conference choices or because that's what the convention center offers.. if it is because the convention center offerings then consider this place only a 2 star place just for the design.nThe food is abysmal. Lunches in packed paper bags just a sandwich with a cup of veg the first day was fresh veg but second day was very wilted and yucky. The breakfast was so blah just scrambled eggs and bagels with cream cheese variety and preserves. The potato at breakfast was super dry and yucky. The coffee is horrible even though it's Starbucks. They had different milks and creamers offered but none were flavored which would have been a great option.nLastly, on my last day i think i got food poisoning because i had a terrible stomach ache with other symptoms after that chickpea lunch sandwich and wilted veg.nIn my opinion half the fun at any conference is the atmosphere and meals but unfortunately this was stripped away from me in this conference.
The Edmonton Convention Center offers a fantastic venue for events of all kinds. With its spacious halls, modern facilities, and attentive staff, it's a top choice for conferences, exhibitions, and gatherings. The central location in downtown Edmonton adds to its appeal, making it easily accessible for attendees. Whether you're hosting a corporate event or a community gathering, the Edmonton Convention Center provides the space and amenities to ensure a successful and memorable occasion
Lots of construction up front so if you’re new to the area it might be difficult to find. Has no parking but you can park at Canada place and find a way through the building. Nice architecture, also cool elevator that transverses the floors which are on different levels.
November 2023 5*nnEdmonton Convention Centre is located in the downtown and is beautifully designed. The place is well maintained and clean.nnI attended the reception and exhibition at the place. Both halls are big. We had buses and vehicles parked in the exhibition.
