Our Website is: http://www.nae.usace.army.mil/ Story Winhall Brook is nestled in the Green Mountains of Vermont along Winhall Brook and the West River. The campground has strong appeal to the outdoorsman at heart. Winhall Brook offers 111 campsites and 14 camping shelters. Mission The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New England District has constructed eight flood risk management protection dams in Vermont. Working with agencies of the state of Vermont, provides quality outdoor recreational opportunities at each of the five Corps-operated flood risk management reservoirs located within the state. The lands and waters of these civil works water resource projects are managed to conserve the natural resources as well as for the primary authorized purpose of flood risk management.
