About The Vancouver Tap Dance Society is a non-profit organization that strives to be a leader in the promotion and preservation of tap dance. Story The Vancouver Tap Dance Society’s mandate includes: 1. Dance Academy: dozens of classes for all ages. 2. Vancouver International Tap Dance Festival: our annual festival dedicated to spreading the joy of tap dance and providing our dancers with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from many internationally-renowned tap dancers. 3. TapCo: our professional youth performance ensemble. 4. Outreach Program: provides classes to hundreds of children each year in local schools. Products Youth Classes in Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Spring and Summer Camps, Competitive Programs including TapCo Adult classes in tap, from Beginner to Professional Outreach program to teach tap in the schools and community events.
