About Halifax's first Board Game Cafe! Story The Board Room Game Cafe is the first cafe of its kind in the Maritimes! Located on Barrington St in Halifax, we are excited to bring this great new business to the HRM. Featuring a large Board Gaming area with a collection of 500+ games to play (teachers included!), The Board Room is a unique experience with espresso drinks, locally crafted beer and soda, tasty sandwiches, snacks and a retail area. For $5 per person (plus HST), you can play as many games as you like, and for regular gamers, we have our Vicinity Points loyalty program! We are licensed, but minors are permitted any time of day! Though, we do ask that anyone under 14 is accompanied by a chaperone. We take reservations over the phone only so please contact us at 902-423-7545 during operating hours (see information to the left) and we'll be happy to book you in!
