About Brookdale Flower Shop Inc. has been providing quality floral services to the Miramichi area for over 40 years. We are committed to offering only the very best service possible to our valued customers, and delivering it with that personal "down-home" touch Story Brookdale Gardens started in the 1930's as a market garden that my Uncle Clyde and Grandfather Brown started. Dad started Brookdale Nurseries in the early 1950's with an ounce of tomato seed and a 1/2 ton of coal. He was the pioneer of the area to start selling little seedlings to plant in your garden. Lloyd Brown then ventured into cut flowers and design as well as growing. Kay Hosford (Mom) caught his eye and she became his side by side companion for many years. As the years went on times they do change and Fred and I (Leigh) opened Brookdale Flower Shop on 488 King George Hwy. in May of 2013.
