Initially started as a 4-H project, it has grown to one of the largest family-owned swine genetics businesses in the midwest. Compart Duroc hogs are bred, born and raised on small family farms. Compart Duroc promises an “All Natural,” rich flavored, lean pork with superior tenderness and natural juiciness. Compart Duroc offers dry aged pork, which is consistent with the favorable muscle pH and heavy marbling qualities of all Compart Duroc products.
