About Contemporary Canadian Art and a collection of Historical Canadian and International Art Story Founded in 1995 by Marlaise and David Dawson, Gallery on the Bay is located in a building that was once the headquarters of a Steel Company, then a school, then a union hall in the 80's and 90's, then briefly a gym, and now the home to artists, writers, filmmakers, and musicians.
