She has apprenticed under a number of respected makeup artist in Vancouver. Karin received her BFA from The University of British Columbia and further refined her painting skills at l’Ecole Nationale Suprieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. She was also trained in special effects in Los Angeles, California at Cinema Makeup.
