About Save On Meats houses our classic diner, full service butcher, catering department, and a community commissary kitchen. Story Since 1957, Save On Meats has been serving our community. Now, we're a full service diner & butcher shop who hires people with barriers to employment offering security and upward mobility for a marginalized population and work hard at increasing food security in our neighbourhood. We also serve some of the city's best diner food while we do it, with friendly, approachable and genuine service. Our butcher shop, Braise & Butcher exclusively sells local BC meats and our beef program is entirely certified organic and sustainable.
