About Golden Crisp Fish & Chips is a multi-generational family owned business in Toronto, Ontario. We serve classic British style Halibut, Haddock, Roughy, and Alaskan White fish with beautiful fresh cut fries. Story Golden Crisp Fish & Chips is a multi-generational Toronto restaurant founded in 1961 by Jan Vandekemp. After the building was burned down in 1988, it was fully rebuilt, redesigned, and revitalized. Now run by Jan's son Harry, Golden Crisp Fish & Chips is still serving the classic English style fish and chips our customers have loved for over 50 years.
