About Open May 1 2017-weather dependent but taking bookings. Story Lazy Day Raft Rentals provides customers with the opportunity to experience Calgary’s local rivers at an affordable price. We are conveniently located at The Calgary Curling Club on Memorial Drive and have plenty of weekend parking. July and August rafting is popular on the Bow and Elbows. The Elbow is quite tranquil and is popular for tubing because in most places you can literally walk across the River. The Bow River is much wider, colder and has a strong current so rafts should be used in preferences to inner tubes.
