About An eclectic dining experience combining uncomplicated delicious food and thoughtfully crafted cocktails. Story Parts & Labour opened in 2010 to major acclaim as the new cultural hub of Parkdale - the hip west end neighbourhood in downtown Toronto. The 5,000 square-foot space boasts a haute cuisine restaurant/bar overseen by Chef Matthew Matheson (Keep it Canada), who harvests some of his ingredients from the rooftop garden. A live-music venue on the lower level (The Shop) rounds out the experience brought to you by Richard Lambert and Jesse Girard founders of "THE SOCIAL GROUP."
