About Celebrate the 161st year of the Le Sueur County Free Fair! Aug. 16-19, 2018. Story Chad Washa-President Marty Baker-Vice President Ruth Hoefs-Secretary John Gintner-Treasurer Mission The Le Sueur County Fair, established in 1857 as an annual business promotional event, and assimilated into the County Agricultural Society, is proud of its' unbroken heritage in providing a means to promote and encourage agriculture and business, while providing family entertainment and learning opportunities. Our mission is to continue the County Fair as a viable means of re-enforcing and celebrating the promotion of agriculture in all of its evolving formats, to assist in bringing together the manufacturers and business concerns necessary to maintain this agricultural tradition and the families involved -- and we wish to continue this within the context of a yearly county fair. In cooperation with the 4-H organization, the local FFA Clubs and other groups devoted to the continuation of farming and agricultural pursuits the Le Sueur County Fair will continue well into the future
