About One of Calgary's eight outdoor swimming pools Story Bowview has 2 pools, all pools are heated, filtered and sanitized 24 hours per day: Main Pool is a six lane 25 meter lap pool with a deep end: - 1.0 meter depth in shallow end - 3.05 meter depth in deep end - 1.8 meter high on deck water slide - 2 slides Wading Pool: - Depth is 0.45 meters - Mushroom Waterfall Facility Features: - Change Rooms for Women and Men - Coin Operated Lockers (requires a quarter) - all personal belongings may be brought out on deck - Temperature controlled showers - pool toys life jackets and deck chairs available upon request Concession: - Concession sells prepackaged snacks, ice cream and drinks (cash only please) Lifeguard Supervision: - All pools are supervised by qualified lifeguards at all times Swimming Lessons: - Red Cross Preschool and Swim Kids lessons available - National Lifeguard Courses Available - Water Safety Instructor Courses Available - Lifesaving Instructor Courses Available - Bronze Star, Medallion and Cross Courses are available "Bowview Outdoor Swimming Pool has 2 pools.
