Remember going through your childhood photos and thinking, “What happened?” and “What was I thinking?” Remember those embarrassing photos of your kids? I do. I loved sitting with my parents and listening to them tell me every single detail about these snaps of memories. This experience is a memory in itself and I wish someone had captured it. Going through my childhood photos take me back to those times. I remember waiting for the ice cream truck and asking my parents for money. I remember playing soccer in the streets with my friends. I remember family vacations. And each time, I think to myself, life is so beautiful and I’m glad someone captured it for me. I’m not so glad for those embarrassing photos but I can understand how much sentiments my parents attach to them. And I am happy someone captured it. For them. Not for me. Still, I’m definitely going to be storing some embarrassing photos of my kids. And this is what I do. I preserve memories one photo at a time. I give you a lifetime of memories. I give you back what somebody gave me once.
