About The Vancouver Bilingual Preschool is a fully licensed Early Childhood facility. The program is unique among area preschools in combining an excellent education with bilingual instruction in both French and English. Story The Vancouver Bilingual Preschool was founded in 1962 by a group of visionary parents who wanted a bilingual preschool experience for their children. The early classes met in a local church, under the guidance of warm, engaging and innovative teachers. In 1970, the school moved to it's beautiful current home at 949 West 49th Avenue. While our classrooms are continually upgraded, the children know this as a familiar place to feel welcome and to thrive. The enthusiasm and traditions of those early years continue to this day, enhanced by modern technology and teaching methods adapted to today's learners.
