About TOSHI SUSHI since 2004 Story Toshi was born and raised near the birth place of sushi – the famous Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo. Having always been in love with cooking, Toshi has been making Japanese home-style food for four decades. He briefly retired 15 years ago but quickly got tired of playing golf everyday. Returning to his first love, cooking, Toshi opened Toshi Sushi, a well-loved gem of a neighbourhood restaurant on 16th near Main.
