About A one-stop shop for all your urban homesteading needs! Story Homestead Junction (formerly Homesteader's Emporium) carries everything you need to get started with a variety of home self-sufficiency projects, like growing and preserving your own food, making cheese, keeping chickens, or making soap. If you're new to these things, you've come to the right place! We'll be a great resource for beginners with knowledgeable staff, demonstrations, and instructional workshops. All workshops and events are held at our retail storefront at 649 E Hastings unless otherwise stated.
