About The Thornbury Bakery Cafe is nestled in the little town of Thornbury on the shores of Georgian Bay. We are about 10 minutes from Blue Mountain and well worth the trip! Story The Thornbury Bakery Cafe has been operating for over 80 years! We are famous for our chelsea buns and cinnamon buns, but we offer so much more! Homemade bread, buns, muffins, cookies and more fill our pastry cases. Our Red Prince Apple Pies have been written up in On the Bay magazine as 'the best they've ever tasted', our carrot cakes are amazing and our buttertarts are unbelievable!
