About Museum and Research Library housed in a 1917 church building and an 1868 house on the Nat'l Historic Register Story Our mission is to preserve and maintain, interpret and educate about our history. By interpret we try to make it meaningful, significant through the unique people and events in our history. WCHS is one of only three non-church genealogical research sites of the Church of the Latter Day Saints genealogical records in the state of Minnesota. Mission To collect, maintain and preserve the history of Waseca County; and to interpret and educate for the benefit of all its residents--past, present and future. Products Primarily the Museum of Waseca County history; and a Gift Shop with local history books & maps, vintage gifts. The Bailey-Lewer Research Library offers genealogical research.
