About The Visual Arts Centre of Clarington (VAC) is a non-collecting public gallery dedicated to arts education and the exhibition of contemporary art. The VAC is open to the public and free to visit. Story The Visual Arts Centre of Clarington (VAC) is a not-for-profit charitable organization. The Visual Arts Centre of Clarington nurtures the cultural development of our community by encouraging the creative impulse through arts education, exhibition, and promotion. The VAC receives public funding from the Municipality of Clarington, The Ontario Trillium Foundation, The Ontario Arts Council, The Ontario Arts Foundation and The Ministry of Heritage and Status of Women. We also are supported by corporate and individual donors and by our membership and volunteers.
