About Established in 1944, Greenhill Humane Society envisions a community in which all companion animals have loving homes and are treated with compassion and respect. Story Programs Our programs include, but are not limited to: Adoption Services, Humane Education, Domestic Violence Assistance, Senior Assistance, On-Site Volunteer Opportunities, and Foster Care. Greenhill operates two shelters in Eugene, Oregon, 88530 Green Hill Road and 3970 West 1st Avenue. Mission Mission Statement Greenhill Humane Society will provide safe shelter for animals in transition, serve as advocates for animals and their people, work to end animal overpopulation and educate the public about compassion and responsibility towards all animals. Vision Statement Greenhill Humane Society envisions a community in which all companion animals have loving homes and are treated with compassion and respect. Products Funding Greenhill Humane Society is a private, non-profit animal shelter. We rely on charitable donations and fees for services for 100 percent of our operating budget. No government grants or subsidies are received to run the shelter.
