More info at calgaryfoodbank.com Story The Calgary Food Bank distributes healthy emergency food to individuals, families and the agencies that serve them. Individuals and families in temporary emergency situations may request up to three hampers in a 12 month period; four more may be accessed with a referral from a community agency. The first step is to call the Hamper Request Line at 403-253-2055. We follow Canada's Food Guide to ensure balanced nutritional content. Each emergency hamper contains 7 days of groceries for each person in the household. Mission Together, we fight hunger and its root causes because no one should go hungry.
