About The Planning Department provides research, advisory and administrative support for comprehensive and land use planning functions within the City. Mission The department is responsible for designing planning policies and standards that will ensure a quality living and working environment for Keene neighborhoods and districts. We also provide assistance to citizens in understanding and applying the site plan review process and policies of the Master Plan, and support the various citizen committees created by City Council.
