About Welcome to the Canadian Museum for Human Rights on Facebook, your meeting place to learn more about human rights in Canada and around the world. Story The mandate of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) is to explore the subject of human rights, with special but not exclusive reference to Canada, in order to enhance the public's understanding of human rights, to promote respect for others, and to encourage reflection and dialogue. While we are aware that human rights issues and topics can generate a wide variety of viewpoints and lively discussion, we ask that users stay on topic and be respectful of others, as if you were having a face-to-face discussion.
