About Locally owned and operated since 1974 Story Perkins Restaurant and Bakery in Elkhart has been locally owned and operated by Robert and Elizabeth Ebbole since it opened in 1974 and is well known for its Bakery with freshly baked cookies, muffins and pies. Our location has provided a great place for Elkhart's teens and adults to work. Some of our employees are third generation employees due to their parents and grandparents having worked with us. We are a friendly family place for our guests as well our employees! Founded in 1958, Perkins® Restaurants offer consumers in 34 states and five Canadian provinces a full menu of over 90 assorted breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack and dessert items at competitive prices. Perkins signature menu items include omelettes, secret recipe buttermilk pancakes, Mammoth Muffins®, salads and Melt sandwiches. Breakfast items are available any time of day. Fifty years after its beginning as a single pancake house in Ohio, Perkins continues to offer guests personalized service and high quality food at a great value.
