About Embracing the Jesus who embraces the world. Story Located in Markham, Ontario, Cornerstone is a Jesus-centred intercultural church with a big heart for the local community and the world. Launched in 1998, Cornerstone operated out of rented facilities for almost 18 years. Then, in September 2015, the construction of Cornerstone Centre was completed -- a dual purpose facility that would be both the home base for the church as well as a community centre for all to enjoy -- regardless of membership or faith affiliation. Mission Making space for Jesus to shape people together in God’s love. Products We are open 7 days per week with programs for all ages. We "make space" for Jesus to shape us wholistically -- spiritually, physically, emotionally, relationally.
