About Pheasant Glen Golf Resort Qualicum Beach BC. 1025 Qualicum Road at the foot of Mount Arrowsmith Story Pheasant Glen is a strikingly beautiful traditional walkable natural golf course. 6,928 yards - par 72 - slope 128 A multi-million dollar rebuild completed in 2005 finished the course started by Doug Carrick in 1990 and finished under new ownership and the supervision of Frank Russel in 2005. The new track officially opened in 2005 and just keeps getting better as it matures. The golf course is becoming renowned for the best greens on the Central Island. Cut packed and rolled they stimp over 10 year round. They are guaranteed to be fast in the summer. Pheasant Glen and its members have been the proud hosts of Provincial and National Championships including: 2006 Men’s BCGA Mid-Amateur Championship 2007 Ladies BCGA Amateur and Mid-Amateur Championship 2008 Men's Canadian Mid-Amateur Championship In 2006, while attending the BCGA Men’s Mid-Amateur at Pheasant Glen, the BCGA Executive Director declared 16, 17 and 18 “the three toughest finishing holes in British Columbia”. Just two players finished under par during the Canadian Mid-Amateur Championship in 2008. Are you up to the test?
