About Lake View Cemetery's mission is to own, operate and maintain an historic burial ground in an arboretum setting, open to all walks of life. Story As a tourist destination, The Lake View Cemetery offers a variety of walking, bus, and self-guided tours. Among the tour topics are geology, architecture, horticulture, nature, animals, and history. In addition, there are picnic sites and hiking trails.
