About Small Animal Hospital Story Hagersville Veterinary Services is a small animal practice. It was established in 1955, the current facilities were built in 1991. Dr. Ed Gowan bought the practice in 1985. The Clinic employs 4 Veterinary Technicians and has 2 clinic pets. The Clinic is fully operational for both medical and surgical cases. Surgeries are done Tuesday and Thursday mornings, the clinic has a surgical laser on premises. Our Technicians are experienced with radiograph techniques for hips and elbows; the clinic sends radiographs to both OFA and Guelph for certification.
