About Our mission is to raise money and awareness of childhood cancer causes, primarily research into new treatments and cures. Story Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation shares the vision of their founder and creator, Alexandra "Alex" Scott- a cure for all children with cancer. Alex, who was diagnosed with childhood cancer just before her first birthday, set up a front-yard lemonade stand in order to give money to doctors to help them find a cure. Since 2000 when the first lemonade stand was setup they have raised more than $120 million.
