About Smith Rock Chalets is a family owned and operated tourist destination. The mountaintop retreat is open year round to accommodate all types of travellers. Story Just 15 minutes from the Northumberland Ferry Service and 10 minutes away from Historical Downtown Pictou, our log chalets are nestled amidst a natural setting with breathtaking mountain views. Hiking and biking trails are plenty. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, satellite T.V., fire pits, hot tub, heated salt water pool and fitness room complete with a sauna. Enjoy our fireside dining room along with our fully licensed bar. We specialize in weddings, conferences and other special events. We cater to your liking.
